In an impressive first half explosion followed by a so so 3rd quarter, the Spartans faced adversity heading into the 4th quarter after seeing their 14 point halftime lead dwindle to 4 points. However, the Spartans ripped off a 28 point 4th quarter while limiting the Knights to just 7 points to capture the district semi-final win at the University of Toledo. The final read 60-35 and the jubilant Spartans move on to face the Whitmer Panthers in the district final at UT on Saturday, March 9th at 2:00 PM.
Adrian Michael continued his hot play with 17 points while Dashad Floyd provided his usual energy with 16 overall points. Tavieon McDonald added 11 points in the win. Devin Williams was steady as always scoring 8 total points.
The Spartans move to 21-3 overall on the season.
