Boys Varsity Basketball · Spartans dominate the Yellow Jackets


After nearly a flawless 1st quarter which saw their lead grow to 24-6, the Start Spartans clamped down defensively the rest of the game to take down Perrysburg in a match-up of two of the top teams in the area, 51-31.

A balanced effort in the scoring column paid dividends for the Spartans with Adrian Michael leading the way with 17 points while Dashad Floyd scored 13 points and TJ Showers contributing 10 points.

The win moves the Spartans to 17-3 overall on the season with their next contest coming against Bowsher High School in the City League semis at Waite High School on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:30 PM.
