Michael Burriola hired as new Softball coach

Congratulations to Coach Michael Burriola who was recently hired as the new softball coach at Roy C. Start High School. Coach Burriola comes to Start with close to 30 years experience coaching fast-pitch softball. His most recent stint was the JV coach at Notre Dame Academy and has coaching experience at Central Catholic High School as well.

Boys Basketball wins Rossford Boys Shootout

Congrats to the boys varsity team who won the Rossford Boys Shootout this past weekend completing a perfect 8-0 record. They defeated North Baltimore in the finals. Keep up the good work!

Start Coaches/Parents/Sideliners team up at MIS

Thanks to the efforts of several coaches, parents and members of Sideliners, Start High School was able to raise money by volunteering at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) over the weekend. New Wall Imaging placed in Athletic Lobby

New wall imaging was completed last week in the Athletic Lobby. We are about 3/4 of the way through our project. Next up, championship plaques will be put up to honor any team that has won a Varsity Toledo City League Championship, District, Regional or State Championship. Future collegiate athletes participate in TPS signing day

Congratulations to following student-athletes who participated in the TPS Signing Day last night at Bowsher High School. In attendance were Amanda Outland (Bluffton University/Volleyball) and Halie Kinor (Lourdes University/Softball). The Start Spartans captured their 3rd straight City League Baseball crown today at Owens Community College.
