New Game Time set for weeks 9 and 10

The new start time for week 9 vs. Rogers High School and week 10 vs. Woodward High School will be at 5:30 PM. The game vs. Rogers is at home while the game vs. Woodward will be played away.

Facing an early 3-0 deficit, the Spartans ripped off 34 straight points to put the game away early in the 3rd quarter. Volleyball ends season on a sour note

Facing league rival Bowsher for a 4th time this season, the Lady Spartans could not solve the Lady Rebels falling in sectional play last night in straight sets, 25-23, 25-22 and 25-23. Congratulations ladies and Coach Skibinski on a fine season.

Girls Soccer falls to the Rebels in City Final

The girls soccer team fell behind early and could not make up the deficit in front of them losing to Bowsher 5-1 in the City League final played at Bowsher High School yesterday. Their next game is on Monday, October 14th at Findlay HS in OHSAA sectional play. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.

Girls Cross-Country takes 1st; Tafelski overall champion

Congratulations to the girls cross-country team on placing first at the City League championship meet last Saturday on a chilly morning at Collins Park Golf Course. Lexy Tafelski was the overall champion for the CL girls division with a winning time of 23:38.7. Fellow teammate Hasia Mack placed 5th (24:11.4) and Aneesa Perez placed 7th

Spartans take down the Bulldogs

Led by Jayson McKinney’s 207 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, the Spartans rung up 32 second quarter points to win convincingly over the Scott Bulldogs on Homecoming night, 46-20.
