Shaun Dryden named City League Co-Coach of the Year

Congratulations to head coach Shaun Dryden who was named the City League Co-Coach of the Year. Coach Dryden led the Lady Spartans to a 14-7 overall record (12-0 in the CL), the City League title and the first sectional win in many years at Start High School. Great going Coach Dryden!

Easley repeats as Player of the Year; Coleman joins her on 1st Team

Congratulations to junior Alasia Easley who was selected for the second year in a row as the City League Volleyball Player of the Year. She also won the honor as a sophomore. Senior Tamea Coleman joined her on the 1st team as well. Emily Marsh and Abbey Swartzfager were selected to the 2nd team All-City.

Girls Cross-Country captures City League Title, Morales places 2nd for boys

Led by the the top two finishers, Amari Franklin (1st place) and Lexi Tafelski (2nd place), the Lady Spartans came out victorious on a chilly morning at Collins Park Golf Course. ’78 City Championship Football team honored

The 1978 City Championship football team returned to their alma mater on Friday night and were recognized for their accomplishments during that magical season.
