Volleyball Conditioning to begin May 22nd

Volleyball conditioning for the 2018-19 school year will begin on May 22nd at Start HS from 3:00-5:00 in the main gym. All students who will be in grades 7-12 next year are welcome to participate.

Easley named CL Player of the Year in Volleyball

Congratulations to sophomore Alasia Easley who was named the City League Player of the Year in Volleyball. Joining her on the first team was junior Tamea Coleman. Abbey Swartzfager and Emily Marsh were both nominated to the 2nd team. Emily Brockman and Amber Dudley were both named Honorable Mention. Congratulations ladies on your accomplishments!

Varsity Volleyball defeated in Sectional by Fremont Ross

The Varsity Volleyball team concluded its season last night losing to Fremont Ross in sectional tournament action to Fremont Ross in straight sets. The Little Giants controlled the match from the outset winning 25-19 then followed up with a 25-11 victory in both the 2nd and 3rd sets. Congratulations Lady Spartans on a fine season!

Freshman Volleyball wins City Final over Bowsher

Congratulations to Head Coach Raychelle Skibinski and her freshman squad on winning the City League title last night over Bowsher in 3 sets. They had a perfect league record at 10-0 on their way to winning the title. Great season ladies!

JV Volleyball wins City Title

Led by Head Coach Stephanie Champine, the JV volleyball team captured the City League title last night defeating the Bowsher Lady Rebels in 3 sets. Grace Szabo and Peyton Simpson led the way for the Lady Spartans. Congratulations on a great season!

Congratulations to the freshman, JV and Varsity volleyball teams as they swept their way into the City League finals with convincing wins Monday night. They will compete tonight at Waite High School beginning at 5:00 where they will take on Bowsher High School in all 3 finals. Good Luck Lady Spartans!
