Home runs by Amaria Wall, Samantha Bee and Emily Marsh proved to be the difference as the Lady Spartans battled back to defeat the Lady Irish in non-league softball, 9-4. Bee had two hits and 3 RBI’s while Sydney Stopera also had two hits to lead the offensive attack. Samantha Sadowski was the winning pitcher.

Softball drops two to Evergreen

On a chilly day for their home opener, the varsity softball team had a tough time laying off the high outside pitch dropping a double header to the Evergreen Vikings 9-2 and 11-6. They are next in action at home versus Central Catholic on March 26th at 5:00 PM.

Emily Marsh signs to play softball at Notre Dame College

Congratulations to senior Emily Marsh who will further her academic and athletic career at Notre Dame College joining her teammate Mya Wright who signed with the Falcons two weeks ago as well. Marsh, a multi-sport athlete, has starred in both volleyball and softball while here at Start. Great job, Emily! Go Spartans!
