Track Competes at Maumee Relays

Congratulations to the following relay teams for their performances at the Maumee Relays. Girls: 1st Place Sprint Medley Relay team – Fizer, Smith , Ricks, Franklin Distance Medley Relay took 2nd place as well as the 4 x 800 relay while the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams took 2nd and 3rd,

Franklin, Ragland advance to Regional Finals

Amari Franklin and Jimesha Ragland both advanced in the 400m and 100m in yesterday’s prelims at Amherst-Steele High School. Franklin ran a PR while Ragland qualified as a freshman. The 4 x 100 relay team also qualified for Friday’s finals as the 4 x 200 relay team narrowly missed out. Good luck on Friday ladies!

Gibson Qualifies for 400m State Final

Keypathwa Gibson qualified today for the 400m final tomorrow at 5:30 running a time of 56.89 in her qualifying heat. Way to go, Key!

Gibson runs personal best to win 400m at Regional Track

Congratulations to senior Keypathwa Gibson who turned in a personal best at the Regional Track meet last night to win the 400m race. Her time was 55.44 seconds. She advances on to the State Track Tournament next week in Columbus. Great work, Key…Spartan Nation is very proud!

Keypathwa Gibson continued her dominance over the sprint competition winning the 100m, 200m and 400m in convincing fashion helping propel the girls to a 2nd place finish behind Bowsher in the Toledo City League Championships held yesterday at Rogers High School.
